Authorities say that at approximately 5:45 this evening that a 4 year old male lion escaped the zoo as he was being fed the zoo keeper slipped and fell and the lion escaped. If you see the lion please call 911 immediately! Do not attempt contact and be sure to seek shelter immediately!

Viral Message Verification –  The website React365.com has come up again and this time, the internet hoax involves the Birmingham Zoo.

There is no official statement from the Birmingham Zoo on the escape of any lions till time of publishing this news.

There are many stories going on react265 many of which goes fake and does not holds any meaning. Same the above story it is not possible to kill a alligator just by a butter Knife. 

The "news" has been making the rounds on Facebook and other social media today it's nothing more than fake news.

All the information was posted on a website called React365.com, a hoax site that allows users to create their own stories with the supposed goal of pranking their friends. Not everyone is in on the joke, however, and the story has been shared more than 111,000 times.

Other React365.com stories include such headlines as "Tupac Shakur Finally Out of Hiding and Releases New Song," about the late rap star gunned down in 1996 and "Woman Slays Gator with Butter Knife."

The site does include a disclaimer at the bottom of its page: "This website is an entertainment website, news is created by users. These are humorous news, fantasy, fictional, that should not be seriously taken or as a source of information."
