Viral Message Verification:- This is a old image from 2016, the child must be 4-5 years old now. However as claimed in the viral message that the child was adopted by Anja Ringgren Loven is correct.
In February 2015, he was rescued by aid workers. His family thought he was a witch , and left him starving, the two-year-old Nigerian boy was rescued after being discovered naked and wandering the streets. He was named as Hope.
Hope was rescued by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa who bent down and began feeding the boy and giving him water and took her to the nearest hospital.
She is the founder of the African Children's Aid Education and Development Foundation, which states that “DINNoedhjaelp's mission is to help accused witch children to gain a sustainable life with the same human rights as you and me. Children has the right to: receive care, Medical treatment, Nutrition/Lodging and education. Our mission is also to inform and educate locals and thus develop the local community.”
The boy’s story has since sparked an awareness campaign, being led by the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF),
Founded by Ms Lovén with her husband David.
