The slain Hizb Commander, Burhan Wani is still making the news even after the year of his killing owing to his popularity among the masses especially in Kashmir. From being included among the top 20 influential people who shook the world in 2016 to getting tributes from Iran university and getting featured on Pakistan’s Azadi train, Burhan has gained much more popularity internationally after his death than alive.
But there have been many instances too when Wani was censured and opposed for being a terrorist and violence supporter, mostly by the Indian based prominent figures. The Indian media has too rebuked and censured Wani for being a terror element spreading violence and anti India activities in valley. Though there have been some Indians who in a way support Burhan Wani calling him a by product of system’s injustice.

The park named Shaheed Burhaan Public Park, Wager, Budgam, Kmr-the green, bottle green and white coloured huge sign-board can be seen in the picture.
However we cannot clarify id this is officially done by the state government permission or not as we don’t have enough proof to confirm this.
