Detailed Analysis: The news originally was being shared widely in the social media websites claiming huge win for the BJP party and above all the photo having the logo of the BBC in promoting this news has acted as fire. Many users blindly shared the news without realizing that it was actually a fake.

Even there is a link given in the viral news, if you click the link it will take you to the home page of the BBC and not to the survey page. We keep this fake news shared in the social media as fake.

If one sum up the seat number given in the survey it adds up to 135+45+35+19=234, whereas the actual constituencies in Karnataka is 224, this would be done only by a person who has least knowledge in mathematics or no knowledge of the Karnataka elections.

The BBC news press gave a statement on this and said "This fake survey on Karnataka polls has been circulating on Whats App and claims to be from BBC News. We'd like to make it absolutely clear that it is and does not come from the BBC. The BBC does not commission pre-election surveys in India.
