1955 batch IAS officer TN Seshan was the Chief Election Commissioner of the country from 1990-96. He is credited with several reforms as the 10 Election Commissioners of the country. He had been living with his wife Jayalakshmi in an Old Age home in Chennai for the past few days. On December 15, both of them together with people living in Gurukulam's Old Age home celebrated TN Seshan's 85th birthday.
