Detailed Analysis:  It is true the ship by the name USS Donald Cook is deployed in Syria however the commanding officer is Matthew J. Powell and not Matt Caldwell.

As per dailycaller and as on 11th of April, 2018, the ship USS Donald Cook is in Syria. It writes
