Detailed Analysis:  No such indecent happened in bangalore however the women is in great distress and literally crying. She says on the video how she was harassed by a group of men and how police refuced to take action against the people on whom she complained.

The video was shared with caption pointing to the dismal state of law and order in Karnataka and seeing with the current election going on in Karnataka.

We did a fact check analysis and found that the video is two month old and not even from India. the incident happened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and not in India, Bengaluru city.

The Bangalore police has already clarified on the incident tweeting that “This incident did not happen in Bengaluru. As the vehicle and emergency numbers are revealed, this video doesn’t belong neither to our state or country. So kindly do not spread such wrong message in the name of Namma city. Thank you”
