However the Indian Union Muslim League gave her a cheque of Rs 2 Lakh and even that bounced.

The tweet was taken up by many people on the social media and by some Indian websites like postcard. A news was published on the web titled “Sensational!!! Rohit Vemula’s mother reveals how the Muslim League promised her to give Rs 2 lakh to speak against PM Modi, and finally cheated her”

They were promised a house by the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), the family now claims there are no signs of progress and accused the political party of merely using them for political gains. Radhika claimed that one of the two cheques given by the party had bounced, forcing her to make several trips to the bank.

Radhika said the article was spreading misinformation. “No cheque bounced, it was rejected due to an error. I have no problem with them [IUML]. They have given me an advance of Rs 5 lakh for land and promised me Rs 10 lakh more after Ramzan. I will campaign for anyone who is against the BJP. The article is spreading wrong things,” she said.

Rohith’s brother also took to Facebook to defend his mother and the IUML. He posted on facebook

Open letter to all...
My FB account hacked today. I can't even access FB from my own mobile (now, it's from my mom's new phone) since yesterday due to software problem.

Mean while...
A person named M S Rama Rao commented on Radhika Vemula Page (First pic)
I didn't even see that post till one of my FB friend shared it with me. And
I was shocked when I saw a post from my messenger that I've replied to a fellow, M S Rama Rao, without my knowledge? 😯(second pic)

Whatever happened since morning in my FB is not of my knowledge. Since morning I was in a village where I couldn't even get signals. And till now I didn't chat with a person who's not in my FB friends list.

This is to clarify that someone hacked my account and trying to defame my mom, Radhika Vemula, by saying that she accepted some amount from IUML party, Kerala to talk against Mr. Modi. That's bull shit and not true.

IUML party promised to help us to build a house as we are poor. And they stand on their word.

You bloody Sangi IT rascals, stop your conspiracy ideas. F**k off

Rohith Vemula’s suicide inside the University of Hyderabad campus in 2016 had raised a massive row with the Opposition calling it a case of atrocities against Dalits. latter, an inquiry by the Andhra Pradesh government declared Vemula as belonging to the Other Backward Class and not a Dalit. After that the cry over Rohith death was not much heard.
