Detailed Analysis: The news viral on the social media claiming that Raid in Ashoka hotel Howrah. Where in Dog's meat found in kitchen is a false story, however stale meat was found on the event of raid at the hotel. Even the raid at Ashoka Hotel, Howrah is true.
The news was verified by twitter handle SSP Dehradun, Dehradun Police, stating “There is a FAKE NEWS of dog meat being sold in Ashoka hotel in Dharampur Dehradoon doing the rounds. Please do not forward such fake posts. Let's all be responsible doonites, not everything doing rounds in social media is true.”

A report was published by with the headline KMC team inspects Kolkata eateries, destroys 100kg stale meat, where it said that A Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) team on Thursday raided a number of restaurants and eateries around New Market where it seized and destroyed over 100kg stale meat.
A joint team drawn from Howrah Municipal Corporation (HMC), Howrah district health department and Howrah city police also raided several restaurants within the Howrah station premise and seized 70kg stale meat as well as some stale fish. Officials said the seized meat and fish was fungal infected.
