Amy hunter Ireland cricketer, youngest centurion in one-day internationals
Harare. Ireland's: Ireland's Amy Hunter became the youngest centurion in one-day internationals on Monday after striking an unbeaten 121 against Zimbabwe on her 16th birthday. She scored an unbeaten 121 against Zimbabwe and broke the record held by Mithali Raj of India. Mithali scored a century against Ireland in June 1999 at the age of 16 years and 205 days. She is still playing international cricket at the age of 38 and is India's highest scorer in Tests and ODIs.

This is Hunter's fourth ODI at a school in Belfast. Her 127-ball innings helped Ireland register an 85-run win over Zimbabwe.

She hit eight fours in her 127-ball innings at number three and reached her century with a leg-side flick for four as Ireland finished its innings on 312-3 in Harare.
Hunter made his debut against Scotland in May. She is only the fourth Irishman to score a century in ODIs and the first female player since 2000.
