Another IPL team Rajasthan Royal team owner found in betting in IPL after the Chennai Super Kings owner BCCI chief S Srinivasan’s son in law, Gurunath Meiyappan. Spot fixing investigating police said –“Rajasthan Royals team owner Raj Kundra and his friend, a businessman named Umesh Goenka was  in contact of other bookies. While one of them is in direct contact with Kundra while the other one are through Umesh Goyenka. Raj Kundra found to be betting in IPL over last three years and lost almost one crore for make his team win. Raj Kundra used to places bets on his own team that make his team win. While investigating to Raj Kundra’s friend, a businessman Umesh Goenka was betting and approach one informatioan about the Ahmedabad cricket pitch, disclose by Delhi Police.

Delhi Police said that Goenka was given VIP passes by Kundra for every Rajasthan Royal’s match. He (Goyenka) used to talk to team players and would ask about useful information like pictch, team strategy etc and after getting such information places their bets.Kundra bets through Umesh Goenka.

Delhi Police said that “till now they didn’t have any proof against Kundra of match fixing”. A sensentional news comes into front Rajasthan Royals team owner Shilpa Shetty  had also involved in IPL betting.Kundra's wife Shilpa Shetty had at least one bet on IPL in last season. Shetty denied the charges that are made against her and her husband.
BCCI has convened an emergency meeting on Monday on agenda of Raj Kundra issue.
