It was really a bad year for Samsung especially the second half of 2016, Samsungs most anticipated device Samsung galaxy note 2, could not go all out for sale, it has to be rolled back just after some sale, due to the note 2 device catching fire.

After this failure, the expectation from Samsung Galaxy S8 has gone to the sky. Galaxy S8 is expected to be released in April next year. And as per latest report, the Galaxy S8 will feature 6GB RAM and 256GB of storage, which is already in sync with the oneplus 3T.

According to rumors

Qualcomm has confirmed that it is working on its next processor - the Snapdragon 835 – which is expected to be powerful, though more details will come out at the CES 2017 event in January. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 edge could become the powerful Android smartphone as Qualcomm is working with Samsung to manufacture the Snapdragon 835.

Also, the Galaxy S8 is expected to come with 6GB RAM just like what oneplus 3T.

Reports also suggest that Galaxy S8 will feature a 256GB storage option.

Samsung recently acquired an AI platform.

Expected to have bezel–less variant and 6.2 inch wide ie around 90 percent of the body.

It is being speculated that the 6.2-inch variant has been added to appeal to the Note 7 customers, who could not get the device after it was globally recalled due to battery burning issues. This year Samsung had released the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch sizes respectively whereas the Note 7 was in the 5.7-inch form factor.
