What is holding back for Google pixel, next upgrade to pixel 2
Google pixel 2: it was a bold decision for Google to come up with its own phone and launch the Google pixel last year. Google pixel had been a hit for many, however for the critics it had come with some limitations, and this limitation until not fixed won’t let the pixel devices to move to the next level and come in competition with Apple and Samsung.
The Pixel smartphones were lauded for their hardware, design and software, especially the deep AI integration however the high price, led to asking of several questions that Google next device Google pixel 2 must answer.
The answers to the question which the similar devices of this level have and which Google pixel does not.
Apple and Samsung are offering water and dust-proofing for their Devices. Many people who are purchasing such a pricy device often compare it with other devices and don’t go for the purchase if it does no provide the same essentials as provided by other devices. It is important that Google take this note and brings up the Google Pixel 2 this year with this upgrade. This will add to the value of the device. The Pixel 2 is most likely to offer IPS67 certification, upgrading from IP58, which is only valid for splashes instead of a full submerge into water.
2K display Technology
Google Pixel 1, surprisingly do not provide a Full HD display on the Pixel which offers AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 441 ppi pixel density. It would be good if Google made 2K the next upgrade to the Pixel 2
Dual camera alike Samsung and Iphone
Many low price devices provide this, however this was started with the Apple Iphone 7 Devices. This gives more power to the pictures captured by the mobile phone.
VR gaming will be a thing in 2017
Thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, VR gaming on flagship phones will be a lot easier. Google has an advantage over its rivals with its Daydream View, which has advanced VR capabilities. We hope to see a second-gen Daydream View headset launch alongside Pixel 2, along with some compatible games this year.
Currently the pixel is using 4GB Snapdragon 821 RAM, Google will need a stronger specification to support its price and value to its customer. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU, 6GB-10GB RAM and a better optimized battery will certainly be a welcome move by Google.
