Viral Message Verification – The Karnataka Congress government though message from the thought of planting large number of trees and conserving the environment. It said it the Government of Karnataka repossessed 15,000 Acres of land of Encroachment Government land in Bengaluru district, out of which 1600 Acres of the land will be used for trees and park.
Good cause however the picture used to display the cause was not original. The government used the image from Rose Tree Park. There is already a video of this taken using drone.
Rose Tree Park is located on Providence Road in Upper Providence Township, Pennsylvania in the suburbs of Philadelphia and used to be used for steeplechase racing. The park is 122 acres in size and is open to the public.
