The Australian government has now announced Tamil language as its third national language. Tamil is one of the oldest existing languages in the world.
Thanks to all the interested people who worked towards achieving this and to the Australian government!

The above news has been circulating on social media and on youtube that Tamil is the third official language of Australia. After slight research we came to know that it is a proposal made by Hugh McDermott and there is no official confirmation on this till now.

Although the news is correct that Hugh McDermott (State Member for Prospect in Australia) , has called for Tamil to be included in the National Curriculum so that Tamil can be a language subject for students across Sanchayan, Australia and Kulasegaram.
