RHINOPITHECUS
The name of this species is Rhinopithecus and also known as snub- nosed Monkey and there is a story behind it. It is believed that that they were called this way after the supposedly snub- nosed criticism of Suleiman and Roxelane the magnificent sixteen century king of sultan of Ottoman Empire from 1520 until his death 1566. Another interesting thing is a difference between, male and female Monkey male being twice heaver then female and difference between there color. Female have darker and even color hairs at their back neck and their back.
The diet of these animals consists mainly of tree needles, bamboo buds, fruit, and leaves. A multi- chambered stomach helps them with digesting their food.
This species of Monkey have very interesting and unique habits that they live together in very large groups of up to 600 members, splitting up into smaller group in times of food- scarcity, such as in the winter. This group of Monkeys consist more males than females.
