Madhya Pradesh, Ratlam: A 15-year-old school student allegedly shot his director by a pistol in Ratlam on Saturday leaving the director, Amit Jain seriously injured.

"The student of class IX fired and injured Milestone Academy School director Amit Jain, who has been rushed to Indore in a critical state," Jaora area City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Dipak Shukla was quoted by PTI.

Police are searching for the boy who fled from the school from the school soon after committing the crime.

The student came to school wearing plain clothes after which the teacher asked him to go home and return school after putting on the uniform. The student went back and was changing his clothes when a phone call from the school complaint to his parents about his behavior and reported that the boy was absent from two days.

In a fit of rage, the minor returned to school with a pistol and shot Jain in the stomach in his chamber, the CSP added.

 Meanwhile, Jain was rushed to a civil hospital from where he was referred to Indore in a critical condition.
