According to reports, in the meantime, the terrorists fired on the bus, nearly a dozen passengers came in the grip of firing and some policemen deployed in the security also got bullets. According to reports, 3 policemen engaged in the security of the passengers have got bullets. According to the preliminary media reports, this terror attack has happened in two places. According to the reports, the voice of gunfire on the Jammu-Srinagar highway was heard, in which two Amarnath pilgrims died, while four devotees were injured. "But the number has increased to 7 now. Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted this incident and condemned the terrorists as an enemy of Kashmiri.

 Srinagar-Jammu highway has been shut after the terror attack.

The police said that the bus driver had violated rules for the pilgrimage, which state that no yatra vehicle should be on a highway after 7 pm.
