New Delhi, Anil Baijal: The Next Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is Anil Baijal, a retired IAS officer of the 1969 batch.
He joined the IAS in 1969 and retired in 2006 as urban development secretary, Government of India, under the Vajpayee government.
Anil Baijal was the vice chairman (VC) Delhi Development Authority, CMD of Air India and Prasar Bharti as well.
He will be replacing Najeeb Jung

The 70 years retired IAS officer, Anil Baijal will be replacing Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Najeeb Jung.

Baijal was earlier in the executive council of RSS-leaning Vivekananda International Foundation.

Earlier, He was speculated for the role of the governor of Jammu & Kashmir.
