The Fire Brand Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, who is widely known for his quick and strict actions for crime and goons has proved it once again. CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered the immediate suspension of two traffic constables for hitting a girl with a stick in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar.

Reportedly the incident is said to have took place near Janeshwar Mishra Park when one of the suspended constables, Ankit Nagar, hit a girl with a stick during checking of vehicles in the area. The victim has suffered a severe “nose fracture and injuries on her face”.

Violence from police officials? Though this was something that was heard before, if the public serving police department gets down to harass women, expecting it from common men would not be a major issue?

UP CM Yogi Adityanath ordered the immediate suspension of two traffic constables yesterday for hitting a girl with a stick during checking of vehicles in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar on Tuesday. Asst Superintendent of Police Lucknow Chakresh Misra is investigating the matter.

According to a government official, Lucknow’s Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Chakresh Sharma, is investigating the matter. The Uttar Pradesh CM has done the right thing by immediately acting upon this accident and has been firm that there will be no violence encouraged against women in state or the nation.

Right from day 1, CM Yogi Adityanath has been firm in his actions against goons in his state. A large count of criminals have been thrown behind bars and a many have voluntarily surrendered themselves to the judiciary with the fear of getting shot by encounters.
