Navjot Kaur Sidhu had resigned from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on October 8.
A formal hockey player, Pargat Singh had earlier associated with Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Pargat represents the Jalandhar Cantt constituency in the state assembly.
There is a high speculations that Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu will follow the same and will also join Congress soon.
Navjot Singh Sidhu had recently formed a new party Awaaz-e-Punjab alongwith Bains brothers and Pargat Singh. Simarjit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains have joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP.
The future of Awaaz-e-Punjab looks pretty bleak with three of its founder members splitting to AAP and Congress.
