Mumbai: Director Madhur Bhandarkar's much-awaited film 'Indu Sarkar' seems to be getting in controversy. The movie is based on the Emergency, Congress leaders have demanded special screening of the movie. Actually, the background of this film is in the 1975 era of Emergency. Looking at the trailer, it is known that the two main characters of the movie Indu Sarkar are similar to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi or say that they are looking same just like Indira and Sanjay Gandhi. The Congress is worried about the film that it may worsene the image of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi earlier.


 

First the Mumbai Congress President and now the big leaders of the Congress. Even in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Leader of Opposition Radhakrishna Vireve Patil has shown great interest in this matter. He has demanded intervention from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis about this film.

Madhur Bhandarkar says that the story of the Indu Government is based on the emergency, it is correct, but the film is 70 per cent fiction and 30 per cent reality.

It is being told that Neil Nitin Mukesh's character in the movie 'Indu Sarkar' is like Sanjay Gandhi, while Supriya Vinod's character is very similar to Indira Gandhi. Although the main story of the film's story is a key character of Kirti Kulhari. At the same time veteran actor Anupam Kher also plays a key role in the film. This film is about to be released on 28th of this month.
