Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee: The chief Minister of West Bengal was threatened to be killed by the Pakistan nased Jaish-e-Mohammed today. A threat letter was received by the General Manager of the Eastern Railway in this context.

The threat letter received, demanded to arrange Rs 50 crore, by the General Manager of eastern railways, failing which lakhs of people will be killed in an IED explosion at Howrah Railway station." It also stated that "if his demands are not met, the organisation will kill Mamata Banerjee", as per news quoted in ibn times.

The police believe the threat to be a hoax but have still increased security at all railway stations in the city.
