New Delhi, Rajnath, Jan 8: The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday stressed that the central government do not get happiness by seeing feud in any party or family.

He specifically said that "We don't get happiness by seeing feud in any party or family"

His remark comes at the time there is a crisis and fight between the Samajwadi old guard and the new guard, between father and son, Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav.

In wake of the growing family dispute between the two warring factions of the Samajwadi Party, Mulayam Singh today specifically said that he was still the party president and his son Akhilesh Yadav is the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Mulayam, who put forth his views before the media where he lashed out at his cousin Ramgopal Yadav who is close to Akhilesh fraction.

Mulayam said that UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's uncle Ramgopal Yadav having been expelled from the party for six years and hence cannot call the convention.

As per sources, Mulayam will urge the Election on Monday to check the authenticity and legality of papers submitted by Ramgopal yadav.

The Akhilesh Yadav fraction on Saturday submitted affidavits signed by party legislators and office bearers to the EC, in a bid to claim over the Samajwadi Party's 'cycle' symbol ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.

Ramgopal yesterday had given relevant documents, with more than 1.5 lakh pages which were submitted to the poll panel to ascertain Akhilesh right over the party name and symbol.

The Election Commission (EC) had given both sides time till January 9 to submit proof of their legislative support.
