Uttar Pradesh: The samajwadi party is heading for a big split confirmed Shivpal Yadav on friday confirmed that he was breaking away from Samajwadi party along with the party patriarch and former CM Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Earlier Shivpal Yadav has accused former CM Akhilesh Yadav of not handing over the Samajwadi Party reigns to party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Shivpal also alleged that the police had been harassing people in his assembly constituency of jaswantnagar.
He Also attacked Akhilesh Yadav of bringing down the party’s tally down to 47 from the existing 227 in the 403 members house. He asked they should analysis why the party tally came down.
