Facts Check Analysis: The Above video viral quite viral on the social media claiming that Azam Khan’s nephew, in Rampur, mercilessly beat a Sikh truck driver. This message is being widely shared on whatsapp and other social media groups.
On searching about the news on the google, we found one video uploaded on youtube showing the attack on the Sikh truck driver.
Azam Khan is from UP, however this video is from Assam, so the first claim in the viral message claiming that the attack happened in UP is wrong, the incident happened in Assam.
The incident took place in February 2018 after the man in the video along with another person were suspected of child kidnapping and cornered by the locals.
As per the news18 claims this people are beaten by the angry crowd, this people were accused of theft and abduction. We did not find any further update on the accused person.
