 Facts Check Analysis: The tweet by Union Justice and Law Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, put out statistics on the number of terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir. As per his tweet the number of terrorists was more in the BJP government than in the Congress regime.

Ravi Shankar Prasad claimed the government’s successful efforts in tackling terrorism in the state.

However information may not be totally correct as number of users pointed this “Hon'ble Minister of Disinformation & Technology, such a lame attempt to cover up the failures of the PDP-BJP government with selective data. As per Jammu and Kasmir the data given Union Ministry Of Home Affair’s Annual Report 2017-18.  2.36: The  State  of  Jammu  &  Kashmir  (J&K) has  been  affected  by  terrorist  and  secessionist violence,  sponsored  and  supported  from  across the border, for more than two and half decades. 

Since  the  advent  of  militancy  in  J&K  (in  1990), 13,976  Civilians  and  5123  Security  Force  (SF) personnel have lost their lives (as on 31.12.2017).

The data is contradicting, data provided by both this leaders is correct but in different time.
