New Delhi, Jan jan ki baat: The Government has released the details of the survey conducted sometime back on the demonetization survey, seeking the feedback from the people of india, regarding what they think on the demonetization. It said over 93.5% of the people who responded in a survey on the Prime Minister's official app supported the demonetisation of high-denomination notes.

Earlier With 10 Opposition parties all uniting together to target the government over the demonetisation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to directly seek views from the citizens of the India, where ever they are in the world, to give their valuable feedback on the inconvenience caused by the decision to ban Rs 500/1000 notes and whether it is good for the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, earliar sought public opinion on his official app, where questions were posted regarding the scrapping of Rs 500/1,000 notes. More then five lakh people have survey.

As per the results posted by Narendra Modi, Personal Twitter account, only two percent of those who participated rated the move as "very poor".

The Congress called it a "made-up survey with manufactured questions and fabricated answers by blind bhakts".

"I thank people for the historic participation in the survey. It's satisfying to read the insightful views and comments," another tweet from Prime Minister followed.

As per the survey

96% thinks black money exists in India

99% think the evil of corruption and black money needs to be fought and eliminated

90% respondents think the Government’s moves to tackle black money is brilliant/nice.

92% respondents think that the Modi government’s effort against corruption is very good/good

90% respondents support the Modi Government’s move of banning old Rs 500 and 1000 Rs notes

92% respondents think demonetization will have an impact on curbing black money, corruption and terrorism

The survey included 10 questions, which were to be rated between one and five stars.

Reacting to the survey, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted: " A trumped up survey, manfactured questions & pre-fabricated answers by blind bhakts. Who cares for pain of common Indian?”
