17 years old Karnataka, Koppal youth bleeds to death onlookers take pictures

Karnataka, Koppal: A teenager died to his injuries after a road accident in Karnataka's Koppal town, the passerby refused to help the young boy. Instead they kept on clicking pictures and taking videos on their mobile phones.

As per the reports in The Indian Express, the victim, Anwar Ali, was knocked down by a state transport bus in Koppal while he was riding on his bicycle and going to work.

A huge crowd gathered at the spot, however  no one from the crowd came forward to help Ali. Instead, the people began taking pictures of Ali, who was lying in a pool of blood and crying and asking for help.

As per other media report he was laying there and bleeding for nearly 30 minutes before the ambulance arrived.

Later Ali was taken to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. Doctors said that he could have been saved if he had he received timely medical assistance.

Locals claimed that they were shocked and did not know how to help him, as the victim was severely injured and was bleeding badly.
