Bengaluru, IT Raid: In a major raid by the officials of the IT department, they seized money worth of more than Rs 4 Crore and that too in new denomination of 2000 Rs notes from two individuals, interrogation on way.

The I-T persons raided the house of an engineer and a contractor and seized over Rs 4 crore in the denominations of Rs 2,000, Rs 500 and Rs 100 along with a few gold biscuits.

Looks this this is, is going to remain the highest seizures of the new currency. Interrogation is still under way for getting the source of the money especially if some bangsers, bank are involved in this said a officer.
