CBI Raids Pranay Roy house, Arvind Kejriwal comes in support

India, New Delhi: NDTV co-founder and executive chairperson Pranay Roy's house was raided by CBI today. It is being said that the CBI raided the Delhi residence of Pranay Roy and his wife Radhika Roy late at the night. Pranay Roy is accused of fund diversion. In this case the CBI has registered the case.

The CBI said told that it has raided Delhi and Dehradun. Pranay Roy has been accused of making a loss of Rs 48 crore to ICICI Bank.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee condemned the raid on NDTV founder and renowned journalist Pranav Roy's residence today. Kejriwal tweeted that we oppose the raids at NDTV group and Dr. Rai. Banerjee tweeted that I am surprised by the news of the CBI raid at Dr. Pranav Rai's house. He is a respected and well-known person.

Talking about the matter, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that the government does not interfere in any case, the CBI has got some information so that he has taken such a step. The law has been its job.

On this matter, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has said that fear of law should be within everyone and no matter how big a person is.

Responding to this, a statement issued by NDTV said that in the process of harassing NDTV and its promoters on the basis of some old, endless, false accusations, the CBI has joined this morning. But NDTV and its promoters will continue their struggle against this harassment of various agencies.

Around 8.00 am on Monday morning, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team reached the house of NDTV News Channel promoter Prannoy Roy's Greater Kailash-1 and raided the house.
