India is ahead of Pakistan after the surgical strike
There was a time after the independence till date that India was always compared with Pakistan. Whether it is economics, backwardness, growth the whole world including the Indians have always compared India with Pakistan.
However after the recent surgical strike, it will be long before people start comparing India with Pakistan. “Two good things have happened after the surgical strikes. First thing is (that) except some politicians, every Indian is rising in unison and standing behind our brave soldiers. And the second thing is we (Indians) have acquired sensitivity regarding national security in a very effective way,” Manohar Parrikar said.
This has increased the sensitivity among Indians regarding national security in a very effective way
A day after a jawan was killed in firing by Pakistani troops, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said the Indian Army was giving a befitting reply to such ceasefire violations.
“Ceasefire violations have taken place in hundreds for the last five-six years…Check out the figures. The only difference is that if they do it now, we give a befitting reply,” he said.
On the illegal sneaking-in of people in Gujarat from border adjoining Pakistan, Parrikar said, “BSF is tightening security at the border. You also know that this is a difficult area where we cannot put up fences as it is a marshy area. But we will use technology and fill the gaps to ensure no unauthorized person enters our territory.”
