New Delhi: Another big decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi In order to encourage Muslim girls in the country with the aim of higher education, the central government will give Rs. 51,000 as 'shadi shagun' to those minority Muslim girls who will complete the graduate studies. The Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, decided to take this step to help Muslim girls.
The MAEF says that the aim of this scheme is to promote only Muslim girls and their parents for the purpose that girls can complete university or college level studies. This move has been named as 'shadi shagun' initially.
Muslim girls will get stipend
Recently, in the MEEF meeting chaired by Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, here some decisions were made in respect of the scholarship given to girls. Apart from this, it was decided that now 10 thousand rupees will be given to Muslim girls studying in Ninth and 10th Class. So far, Muslim girls studying in 11th and 12th grade were getting scholarships of Rs. 12 thousand rupees.
Parents have to encourage achieving this goal
MAEF treasurer Shakir Hussain Ansari said, "Even today, in a large part of Muslim society, Muslim girls are not able to get higher education. One of the reasons for this is financial constraints. Our aim is to encourage the girls and especially the parents, that girls should complete at least graduation level. In such a way, a sum of Rs 51,000 has been decided as a marriage omen. He said, "This amount is not very much, but we hope that it will encourage people to get higher education for Muslim girls.
The treasurer said that the website is being prepared in this context and this full detail will be given. It is worth noting that the same amount of 'Shagun' marriage will be received by those Muslim girls who have completed graduation, who have received scholarships from the MEAF at the school level. Ansari's gave the credit for this new move of the MEEF, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, said, "The Prime Minister has done Sabka Sath sabka vikash of '. The result of the strong leadership of the Prime Minister and the efforts of Naqvi Ji is that many steps are being taken for the development of minorities.
