Three soldiers killed and mutilated in Machhil sector of J&K
Kupwara , Machhil: Three Indian soldiers were martyred and body of one of the soldiar was mutilated in an encounter with the militants in Machhil sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
The body of one of the soldiers was brutally mutilated by the terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC). The Army has briefed the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar about the incident.
"3 soldiers killed in action on LC in Machhal. Body of one soldier mutilated, retribution will be heavy for this cowardly act," the Northern Command said.
The Army reacted strongly to this attack by Pakistan and said that the 'retribution will be heavy' for Pakistan's highly-coward act. Earlier, on Tuesday, the Indian Army had also gunned down two terrorists in the Bandipora district.
In a similar incident that took place on October 28, Mandeep Singh Rawat was killed and his body also mutilated by terrorists in Machhil sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
The security forces had cordoned off the region following the incident after both the terrorists were holed up.
