News Claim: A letter is being viral on social media platform. It has been claimed in this letter that the government will deposit Rs 30 lakh in the account of applicants of a scheme. For this, the applicant will have to pay a fee of Rs 10,100. These days fraudster are targeting people through social media, mail and messages, but you can avoid them by being careful. They are promising to give Rs 30 lakh to people through different means, but some conditions have been kept for this. The Government of India has issued an alert regarding this.
News Verification: The government agency Press Information Bureau (PIB)has now issued an advisory regarding this. In which it was told that the thugs are issuing a fake letter of the Government of India and talking about putting 30 lakhs in the account. Instead they are asking for 10 thousand rupees, but you should be careful. No such institution works under the Government of India, nor does the government issue any such letter. Beware of thugs and do not put any money in their given account number, otherwise you will be cheated.
