News Verification: The government has told the truth on this whole matter. The government has said that no such fee is charged. PIB Fact Check has told in one of its tweets that some people are making a letter viral on social media.

It is being said in this letter that if you want a loan under PM Mudra Yojana, then for this you will have to pay a verification and processing fee of Rs 4500.

The Ministry of Finance has not issued any such instructions or orders.Explain that PM Mudra Yojana, Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Limited, is a new organization formed by the Government of India for activities related to development and refinancing of small units. The scheme was introduced by the finance minister in the 2016 budget.
