News Claim: A Message is becoming viral on social media regarding many schemes of the Central Government. These days another message is going viral on social media, in which it is being claimed that the Government of India is providing free internet facilities for 3 months.

News Verification: PIB has written in a tweet on its official Twitter handle that it is being claimed in a WhatsApp message that the Government of India is providing free internet to 100 million users for 3 months.

After the fact check, PIB has called this message completely fake. PIB said that everyone should beware of such messages going viral on social media. PIB asked people not to forward such messages. By being misled by such messages, you put your personal information and money at risk.
