newcomers Karl Urban, Tati Gabrielle and Adeline Rudolph joining the cast.
The sequel is expected to follow the same characters and plot as the first film. However, the sequel may introduce new characters and storylines.
The cast of Mortal Kombat 2 is expected to include Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade,
Josh Lawson as Kano, Mehcad Brooks as Jax Briggs, Tadanobu Asano as Shang
Tsung and Chin Han as Lord Raiden. It has also been rumoured that the sequel
will feature the character Johnny Cage, who was not included in the first film.
