When the matter was investigated, the claims of journalists on social media proved to be false. The members of the National Assembly of Pakistan were seeking vote on the resolution against rising Islamophobia and thus were shouting "voting, voting" while Shah Mehmood Qureshi was speaking. One can also see that the speaker, Qasim Suri is seen telling Assembly,Voting will happen. ('Voting Sab Kuch Hoga'.)
If we listen to the video we can only hear that the only slogan that was raised mentioning Modi was ‘'Modi ka jo yaar hai, Gaddar hai gaddar hai'.
Independent journalist Aditya Raj Kaul confirmed that Pakistani politicians chanted ‘voting-voting’ .. not Modi...Modi in the Parliament.
Rajat ji, Pakistan MPs are chanting ‘Voting Voting’. Not ‘Modi Modi’. Watch the full video. Khwaja Asif demands voting in the house before Shah Mehmood Qureshi begins speaking. That triggers sloganeering. Speaker says, voting will happen to calm tempers. Please make correction. https://t.co/wafEPAOp6u
