The victim's age is said to be 15 years old, who hails from a village in Gajrajganj OP. According to the FIR lodged in the SC-ST police station, the girl had gone to her maternal aunt's house to get books. While returning from her aunt's house, 4 boys caught her near Kaunra Powergrid of Jagdishpur police station area. Then forcibly took the student to a nearby bush and gang-raped her.

This disgusting incident of gang rape with a Dalit student has forced society to be ashamed. A video of this entire incident has also surfaced in social media, which is fast becoming viral. In this viral video, the face of the four rapists is also being imprisoned. There is an atmosphere of sensation in the area after the incident. When the viral video reached the victim's family, she immediately lodged a written complaint with the Ara SC-ST police station. According to the FIR, a case has been registered against two unidentified persons, including two youths of Kaunra village, Sunil, and Mintu. All of them have been accused of rape. The Dalit victim has pleaded with the police for justice. The Bhojpur police, taking this whole matter seriously, has started investigating.
