Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, said since the charges against Mann were serious in nature, he is advised not to attend the proceedings of the House till a decision is taken on the complaint against him. He has not been attending the proceedings on the advice of the Chair.
To protest this Mann, he sat on a dharna outside Parliament with a placard that read this: “Modi is afraid of me, so he keeps me out of the Parliament.” Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted Mann's picture.
