Bihar, Patna: No doubt Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is one of the most loved person of Bihar, that was the region why the Janta dal and Rashtriya Janata Dal got overwhelming support and Nitish came to power in Bihar. However the RJD got more seats than the JD in the recent Bihar elections. However ever now Nitish Kumar has resigned on Wednesday. He met the Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi in Patna and presented his resignation to him.

His resignation has come in-between the ongoing tensions between RJD and JD (U) over the issue of Bihar’s deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav’s resignation. Who is not willing to resign amid ongoing  cases of corruption against him.

While addressing a press conference in Patna, the chief of the Rashtriya Janata Dal Lalu had claimed that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had never demanded Bihar’s deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav’s resignation, so there is no question of No. 2 in the government to resign from his post.

Lalu Yadav had reportedly said, “Nitish Kumar did not ask for Tejashwi’s resignation.”

Lalu said to Indian Express. “We have formed the grand alliance, made Nitish Chief Minister. Why will we break the alliance?”

Lalu Yadav, said that RJD will not tolerate any disrespect towards Nitish as he is the leader of the grand alliance, to show his support towards Nitish.

Bihar’s deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav also repeated his father’s words said that he was never asked to resign.

Tejashwi also claimed that it was actually BJP and RSS, who want to create differences between the RJD and the JD (U).
