New Delhi, November 11: The move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demonetise Rs 500, Rs 1000 currency notes to curb black money circulation has not gone down well with several politicians including Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) boss Arvind Kejriwal.

Due to the suddenness of the decision, several people initially had to face trouble but mostly people have also lauded the move. However, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a Facebook live video on Thursday slammed the bold step of PM stating it is not going to solve any black money problem but instead going to increase it.

“Do you find black marketers in the queues? Or rich people? Those in the queues are traders, rickshaw pullers, autorickshaw drivers, farmers, workers. Are these the people with black money?” he asked. He also alleged that BJP's friends already knew about the development and have already sent their money abroad.

Kejriwal took the Dig at PayTM, claiming the company was the biggest beneficiary if this move. "Paytm biggest beneficiary of PM’s announcement. Next day PM appears in its ads. Whats the deal, Mr PM?” he tweeted.
