According to Subhash Chandra, the channel will now only broadcast Indian shows dealing with the native Muslim community. The latest announcement came through his Twitter account.

Earliar, tweeted about considering the ban on all Pakistani shows being broadcasted on Zindagi channel. The statement came on Saturday morning through his official Twitter account. Chandra expressed disappointment over Pakistan's stand of glorifying Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Meanwhile, in wake of Uri attack, a parallel war is going on between Bollywood and others order to evict the Pakistani artists from India. Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya also tweeted derogatory posts about the Pakistani artists working in India and Bollywood fraternity supporting them.
'Zindagi' is a television channel under Zee Media Network which broadcasts Hindi and Urdu shows from Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey. The Pakistani shows were a big hit in India gathering positive reviews from public as well as critics.
