For this reason, if a person wants to make two driving licenses, then his theft will be caught. Ravi Shankar Prasad today informed the government's proposed decision in a program. Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "We are thinking of linking the driving license to the Aadhaar, I have spoken to Nitin Gadkari about this." Nitin Gadkari is currently the Minister of Surface Transport.
According to the media report, the central government could adopt this proposal next month. Let us tell you that if a driver's driving license is canceled in violation of traffic rules or in the event of criminal activity, such people would then be able to make a fresh driving license from other areas of the country. By obtaining several driving licenses, a criminal could also have succeeded in concealing their identity. But the biometric detail of Aadhaar number will be successful in preventing any such fraud. According to a report, the Central Surface Transport Ministry has started working on this proposal. And for this, necessary changes are being made in the legal provisions.
