Chennai, Jayalalithaa AIIMS Report: The Medical report of Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was released by the Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and it says she was found "breathless with low oxygen saturation, resulting in drowsiness.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) handed over the medical report of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa to the Tamil Nadu state government. This report contains the analysis of Jayalalithaa’s health condition by the doctors of the AIIMS Chennai.

This has been done just, ahead of Pannerselvam fast over the demand of probing the death of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

The report is important because there has been a different question raised from all the places in Tamil Nadu and by social organizations who wanted to know the death report of J Jayalalithaa.

As per the authorities, the papers were handed over by V Srinivas, AIIMS deputy director, to Dr J Radhakrishnan, principal secretary of Tamil Nadu's health department.

J Jayalalithaa was declared dead at Apollo hospital in Chennai on December 6, after over two months when she was admitted with fever and dehydration on September 22, 2016.

The Tamil Nadu government had on Sunday even rejected former chief minister O Panneerselvam’s claims of foul play in the treatment of Jayalalithaa.

DMK too has approached the Madras high court seeking a comprehensive probe on the death of J Jayalalithaa.

After repeated requests seeking probe of her death, the Tamil Nadu government had requested AIIMS on March 5, 2017, for handing over the visit notes of the AIIMS delegation to Chennai for their official records.
