Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa: Chief Minister and AIADMK leader, the 68 years old, Jayalalithaa is back in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai after she suffered a cardiac arrest Sunday evening.
Thousands of AIADMK party workers have jammed the streets near Chennai's Apollo Hospitals, riot police is on the ready.

“Our doctors are trying their very best,” Apollo Hospitals’ Sangita Reddy tweeted at around 3 am Monday morning.
Apollo Hospitals has confirmed that Jayalalithaa has been put on an extracorporeal membrane heart assist device which is a bypass machine that pumps and oxygenates patient's blood outside the body. In simpler language, that's life support.
