Kolkata, Fatwa Narendra Modi: A Muslim cleric Maulana Nurur Rehman Barkati, considered close to Mamta‘s TMC on Saturday 7th Jan, He issued a fatwa offering a reward of Rs 25 lakh to anyone who cut off Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s beard, shave his head and coat him with black ink.
As per thehindubusinessline , the Shahi Imam of Tipu Sultan Mosque Maulana Nurur Rehman Barkati’ issued the the fatwa at a meeting, chaired by the ruling Trinamool Congress MP, Idris Ali, at meeting in the Kolkata Press Club.
All India Masjilh-e-Shura (Tipu Sultan Masjid Kolkata) and All India Minority Forum went ahead and issued issued a statement describing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the most favoured nominee for PM.
