India, Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's ruling Samajwadi Party appeared headed for a split after the UP Chief Minister on Sunday sacked his uncle Shivpal Yadav and three other ministers from the cabinet.

Akhilesh Yadav sacked Shivpal Singh Yadav, Shadab Fatima, Om Prakash Singh, Narad Rai from the cabinet. The notice of the same has been sent to the governor Ram Naik by Akhilesh Yadav.

The decision taken after  a meeting with party legislators and looked like a tit-for-tat for the earlier dismissal of Akhilesh supporters from the party by Shivpal Yadav.

 

Akhilesh Yadav also described himself as the political successor to Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder leader of the Samajwadi Party and one of the country's most experienced politicians.

 Shivpal Yadav rushed to meet his elder brother and party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav after this decision of Akhilesh Yadav.
