Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat: The Uttarakhand chief minister, Harish Rawat was summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with a probe into allegations of bribery against him.
The Central Bureau of Investigation, asked him to appear before the court on December 26 for the alleged sting CD case
On April 29, the CBI had registered the preliminary enquiry to probe the sting CD case in which, Harish Rawat was purportedly shown offering bribes to rebel Congress MLAs to support him during the floor test in Uttarakhand.
The CBI, investigation agency had summoned Mr. Rawat for examination on May 9, earlier this Year 2016, but he had sought some more time. The case was handed over to CBI when President's Rule was imposed in the state.
